Four decades of building Indonesia’s digital backbone
Sejahtera Group is a group of companies that was founded in 1984. We became one of the first IBM and Apple distributors in Indonesia. In 1996, we became the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Indonesia, building fibre-optic networks and data centers until today.
From the beginning, and even truer today, our commitment is to help digitize businesses and organizations in Indonesia. We want to see an Indonesia where digital knowledge is increased and the digital divide is lessened.
With offices located all over Indonesia, we are here to serve our clients and partner with businesses, both for our tech and our diversified portfolios. We serve business organizations and government agencies with their digitization and growth efforts, guided by a core value of building relationships with everyone who engages with our organization.

Where we were. Where we’re headed.
- 1984
Starting years
Started with a humble beginning, we first specialized in computer and software dealership and became one of the first IBM distributors in Indonesia. Our experience as a hardware dealer and software distributor for the hospitality industry proved invaluable as the group branched into other areas of expertise.
- 1996
Transitioning years
We became one of Indonesia’s first Internet Service Providers (ISP) and a founding member of APJII (Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia), helping create APJII’s first data center in Jakarta. We are now a Network Access Provider (NAP) licence holder as well.
- 2002
Growth years
We grew the business into GPS asset tracking, system integration, software consulting and more. Through PT Kreasi Pacific we built and operate a voice and data network infrastructure in Indonesia, running more than 10 Gbps of international submarine fibre-optic capacity from Indonesia to the rest of the world.
- 2014 – now
Digitizing Indonesia
We diversified further into bio-technology and natural resources, while doubling down on our core mission: helping digitize Indonesia, from SMEs to enterprises and government agencies. Our tech businesses span fintech, SaaS, logistics tech, edu-tech, and more.
